		<description>That is strange, isn't it. I guess that the healthcare professionals would say that it is because vaccinations don't give 100% protection. My son will have the MMR jab soon - when he is 12 months old, as on the schedule in Australia. All the best with making your decision.</description>

		<description>Yes, it's a tough one! Thanks for your input - yes, I do consider the single vaccination to be a serious option, but have read that these are less tested and therefore less safe. I'm also not entirely convinced that vaccinations actually DO protect from the diseases they claim to, as some studies show that during measles outbreaks, the only ones who caught the disease were, in fact, vaccinated, which is very puzzling! When you say your son will get the jab when he's older, what age?</description>

		<description>It is a very hard decision - I wish you and your partner every success in making it. I had measles as a child and still remember how awful it was. I would not like my children to go through it, so my daughter has been vaccinated and my son will be when he is older. Would the separate vaccinations, rather than the MMR jab, perhaps be an option for you? I think that they are considered to be less potentially risky than MMR.
